Oral surgeons are responsible for performing routine to complex surgery on the body including the palate, maxillary sinuses, jaw, and lower face. The oral surgeons at D32 The Dental Centre have extensive experience conducting complex reconstructive procedures on patients with injury or disease. These are also responsible for: tooth extractions and the testing and biopsy of oral cancer. Oral Cancer Screening We at D32 The Dental Centre will use a piece of gauze to gently pull your tongue to each side and examine your tongue’s top and bottom and sides for any signs of oral cancer. We will also do a thorough check for signs of oral cancer in the inner cheeks, tonsillar region, under the tongue, and on the roof of the mouth. Oral and maxillofacial surgeons at D32 A full range of oral and maxillofacial surgery with experience ranging from corrective jaw surgery to wisdom tooth removal is performed at the Dental Centre. We also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries, and perform a wide range of procedures for dental implants and bone grafting. Benefits of Oral Surgery 1.
